END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE ESSENCE OF PANFLUTE
1. Definitions
    "EULA” means this “end user license agreement".
2. Installation and individual using
    The Essence of Panflute is licensed to you for your own personal or business use only. You may copy The Essence of Panflute on your computer for the purposes of using the content of the collection recorded under The Essence of Panflute, but you may not copy The Essence of Panflute on two computers simultaneously. You may make a single copy of The Essence of Panflute for archiving purposes only.
3. Special cases of copying The Essence of Panflute on other computers:
    In case your musical production requires a more complex studio and you wish to use The Essence of Panflute within another studio, you may copy this collection on a computer within the respective studio only for the purposes of performing your required activities at that location, subject to two conditions:
    a) the owner of the respective computer must read this EULA, AND CONSENT TO ALL TERMS STIPULATED HEREIN.
    b) After you complete the said production, you must personally unistall all the components of The Essence of Panflute collection from the respective computer, so that no trace of this collection is left on the said computer.
4. Warnings
    The Essence of Panflute is protected by the Romanian copyright laws, as well as by the provisions under the relevant international copyright treaties, as well as under other intellectual property laws and treaties. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of The Essence of Panflute, as well as of parts, adaptations or documentation thereto is subject to civil and criminal penalties.
5. Copyrights
    The Essence of Panflute is copyrighted to S.C. CANIRA MUSIC INTERNATIONAL S.R.L. All trademarks, service marks and other registered names mentioned herein and under related texts are the property of their respective owners.
6. Rental, lease, lend
    You may not rent, lease, or lend The Essence of Panflute to any party. The Essence of Panflute may be used only by you.
7. Protection of The Essence of Panflute
    You hereby agree to take all reasonable steps to protect this product and any accompanying documentation from any unauthorized copying or use.
8. Limited warranty
    NO WARRANTY. I hereby expressly waive any warranty for The Essence of Panflute. The Essence of Panflute and any related documentation is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but without limitation to implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or no infringement. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of The Essence of Panflute shall remain with you. S.C. CANIRA MUSIC INTERNATIONAL S.R.L. shall not be held liable in any way for anything that may occur during the use of this product. Installation of this product means that you have read and acknowledged all terms stipulated under this EULA.
9. Description of other rights and limitations
    Related to The Essence of Panflute , in no event shall the author be liable for any special, direct,indirect,or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance thereto.
10. Handling
    Handle this product with outmost care and keep it out of the reach of children!
11. Term
    Without prejudice to any other rights, I may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions under this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of The Essence of Panflute and all of its components.
    This EULA is governed by laws of Romania. Should you have any questions concerning this EULA, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Register, Contents and Installation Instructions

 

   Congratulations on and thanks for buying “The Essence of Panflute”.

 

          We hope that this disc meets the expectations of the thousands of Pan Flute fans, as well as those of the potential users of this instrument, for various projects. Over time, I noticed that the studio musicians lack the Pan Flute resonances. They are present, of course, on many sound modules, on various sound volumes etc., but there is no individual disc to put this instrument forward, and to render genuine Pan Flute sounds for the listener. Thus, we had the idea to record this disc, meant to include both the most representative sound bases, and phrase bases for this fascinating, but extremely demanding instrument.

  It could be stated that the selection of this disc – when the Pan Flute is needed – might as well be a definitive one, given that it was created at the highest quality standards, without any compromises, and thus it meets the most exigent needs, requirements and – why not? – the most demanding expectations.

             This is a product made by musicians for musicians.

Long Notes = Long Notes (D3 – G6)

Wild Vibrato = Panflute-specific, more pronounced vibrato(D3 – G6)

Install Notes

 

 

GigaStudio 3

 

I. Instructions for installation in (gig) format - 24 BIT

 

1) Copy folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE GIG to a hard-drive partition (E.G.D: \) or to a folder  (E.G.D: \ Sounds).

2) Open GigaStudio 3.

3) If you are not using the midi mixer yet, click midi mixer.

4) 16 instruments slots are available on the left window side.

5) Click the slot you want to load an instrument to; select the load instrument option from the drop-down menu.

6) Go to and double-click folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE GIG.

7) The 5 subfolders with GIG format programs are available: Articulations, Effects, Key Switch, Specific Phrases,

and T-Demo-Bonus.

8) Double-click the folder containing the desired GIG format program. Double-click this program. That’s all.

II. Instructions for installation in (gig) format - 16 BIT

 

1) Copy folder 16 BIT PANFLUTE GIG to a hard-drive partition (E.G.D: \) or to a folder  (E.G.D: \ Sounds).

Follow the instructions under I.  2) - 8), but at 6) double-click folder 16 BIT PANFLUTE GIG.

 

 

 

HALion 3

 

I. Instructions for installation in HALion (fxp) format - 24 BIT

 

1) Copy folders 24 BIT PANFLUTE Content and 24 BIT PANFLUTE HALion to a hard-drive partition (E.G.D: \) or to a folder

 (E.G.D: \ Sounds).

2) Open HALion 3.

3) Click Browser.

4) Use the File Browser window to open folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE HALion.

5) In folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE HALion you find the 5 subfolders: Articulations, Effects, Key Switch, Specific Phrases,

and T-Demo-Bonus.

In these subfolders you will find the desired (fxp) programs.

6) Drag and drop the desired program to load it.

7) If a window with the text “Where are the audio files of the (fxp) program?“ is displayed, open folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE Content. A folder with the name of the (fxp) program you want to load is available.

8) Click this folder. The audio files of the (fxp) program will load.

II. Instructions for installation in HALion (fxp) format - 16BIT

 

1) Copy folders 16 BIT PANFLUTE Content and 16 BIT PANFLUTE HALion to a hard-drive partition (E.G.D: \) or to a folder

(E.G.D: \ Sounds).

Follow the instructions under I. 2) - 8), but at 4), 5) and 7) open folders named 16 BIT PANFLUTE instead of 24 BIT PANFLUTE.

 

 

KONTAKT 2

 

 

I. Instructions for installation in KONTAKT (nki) format - 24 BIT

 

1) Copy folders 24 BIT PANFLUTE Content, 24 BIT Key Switch Content and 24 BIT PANFLUTE KONTAKT to a hard-drive partition (E.G.D: \) or to a folder (E.G.D: \ Sounds).

2) Open KONTAKT 2.

3) In the Control Panel, click the Load \ Save button, then select Load from the drop-down menu.

4) Go to and double-click folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE KONTAKT.

5) The 5 subfolders are available here: Articulations, Effects, Key Switch, Specific Phrases, and T_Demo-Bonus.

In these subfolders you will find the desired (nki) programs.

6) Load the desired program.

7) If a window with the text “Where are the audio files of the (nki) program?“ is displayed, open folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE Content.

A folder with the name of the (nki) program you want to load is available.

8) Click this folder. The audio files of the (nki) program will load.

9) If you choose (nki) programs from subfolder Key Switch and a window with the text “Where are the audio files?“ is displayed,

go to and click folder 24 BIT Key Switch Content. The audio files of the (nki) program will load.

II. Instructions for installation in KONTAKT (nki) format - 16 BIT

 

1) Copy folders 16 BIT PANFLUTE Content, 16 BIT Key Switch Content and 16 BIT PANFLUTE KONTAKT to a hard-drive partition (E.G.D: \) or to a folder (E.G.D: \ Sounds).

Follow the instructions under I. 2)-9), but at 4), 7) and 9) open folders named 16 BIT PANFLUTE instead of 24 BIT PANFLUTE.

 

Wav files

 

For access to the 24-bit .wav files of the collection The Essence of Panflute do the following:

1) Copy folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE Content to a hard-drive partition (E.G.D: \) or to a folder (E.G.D: \ Sounds).

2) In folder 24 BIT PANFLUTE Content you find the 34 subfolders.

3) In these subfolders you will find all .wav files of the collection The Essence of Panflute.

 

For access to the 16-bit .wav files of the collection The Essence of Panflute follow the foregoing 3 instructions for the folder

16 BIT PANFLUTE Content.

 

 

Generalities

 

For ample and generous sounds, please use the following reverberation controls:

Predelay: approx. 50 ms

Time: approx. 2 s

Room size: approx. 100

 

Listen to the songs in the folders Demo Songs, The world of Pan and Ave-Maria (Bach-Gounod) to experience mixes possible using the sound banks of the collection The Essence of Panflute. These demo songs were played on keyboard only! They sound as natural as being played on a real panflute.

System Requirements

 

We cannot require anything; the only requirements are those of your sampler and your host program.

You can use any host program (E.G. Cubase SX 3) compatible with your sampler.

 

Platform

 

If your software applications can run on various platforms, the sound banks are also usable on any of these platforms.

 

Operating system:

 

If the used software applications can run on several operating systems (E.G. Cubase SX 3) the sound banks are also usable.
